INTRODUCING CHILD AWARENESS USA

Child Awareness USA was started in Aug 2007 with a small team of staff. It was the brainchild of Paula Rainnie who decided to bring the campaign over to the U.S. and so Child Awareness USA was born.

Our main aim is to educate children on the effects of drug and alcohol abuse, by using our books as a teaching tool in schools and colleges across the United States. If we can save the life of one of god’s children then we believe that this campaign is worth it.

I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors, staff and schools for all the exceptional Work that they have achieved over the last two years and may it continue with Child Awareness USA. If you are fortunate to receive letters from young people who have benefited from the material we produce, you too would see what a real and positive difference our campaign is making.

We want to make a difference in the communities across The USA.  To do that we need the help of businesses like yours to sponsor books into local schools and colleges. By sponsoring one pack of books you may save one young person from making a potentially fatal decision to experiment with drink or drugs. 

The young people we are trying to educate are the future business men and women of the USA, your future employees.  We have to ensure that they receive the best education possible so they can make informed decisions on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. Then go on to fulfilling lives in employment.  How can a young person decide if it is right or wrong to try drugs without having the facts to hand.  This is what we aim to do with our publication.  The hard hitting true life stories tell of the devastating effect these kinds of abuse have on the friends and relatives of the addicts.   If you care about your community and the future of the USA then we need you to join with us in trying to eradicate this evil.  In recent polls  most surveys found that over half the students asked had smoked marijuana. This raises the question if these students had had the education available would they have taken the decision to use drugs or drink alcohol?

We need to make sure that every young person in the USA has access to this material. We need to help the schools.  Most schools are introducing random drug screening into their schools.  We can help by backing that with the education.

It is a well known fact that drug or alcohol abuse can cause health problems which in later life will obviously mean time missing from work. Invest in the future of the next generation of this country.
